RE: Opposition to transfer private date pursuant to the Income Tax Regulations (Implementation of FATCA Agreement), 5776-2016
Pursuant to the English notice published by the Israeli Tax Authority on 19 September, 2016, I hereby object to the transfer of personal private information to the IRS.
I have attached the notice to this letter (pdf to print)
There is no reason to transfer such personal financial information. I in no way evade taxes, both here and in Israel, and I believe the transfer of such information violates my basic right to privacy embodied in section 7 of the Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty and the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981.
Pursuant to the notice, I demand that no information is transferred until my concerns are assuaged.
If my concerns are not “assuaged” and the information is transferred nonetheless, then I will consider taking any necessary legal steps against your institution.
Sincerely,
